Compilation of a database on cultural competence training resources

The aim of this project is to compile a database of resources used by trainers/educators working in multicultural settings for the purpose of training health care workers in cultural competence.

A questionnaire was sent out to various organisations, units and area health services to gather information about cultural competence training and their use of resource material. Based on the responses, a preliminary database of cultural competence teaching resources has been established. The next stage is to refine the database and present it in a form that can be accessed on The Centre for Culture and Health website.
