This 7-hr interactive workshop aims to improve the GP’s confidence and skills in raising mental health issues and negotiating treatment options with CALD patients within their general practice.
The following topics will be covered in the workshop:
Assessment and communication skills
Carer and consumer perspective
Working with interpreter services and allied health professionals
Resources available for GP’s
Endorsement: Application to RACGP pending.
(Participants will be notified of QA and CPD points awarded after the workshop and will be provided with a certificate of attendance)
